Responsibilities & Context
- Organizing beekeepers.
- Engaging suppliers of materials.
- Constant communication, coordination and good relationship with various stakeholders including beekeepers, bee crop producers, related government and private offices in the concerned area.
- Taking initiatives to increase the promotion of honey.
- Organizing various types of training and ensuring highest quality of training.
- Organizing honey mela and undertaking e-commerce based marketing initiatives at entrepreneurial level.
- Taking initiatives for honey banding in hilly areas.
- Project implementation according to the project budget, cost control, ensuring performance according to the scheduled time.
- Taking initiatives to acquire timely technical knowledge and disseminate it among beekeepers through exchange of ideas.
- Supervision, monitoring, supervision and necessary guidance of all activities as per scope of work of the project staff.
- Support and networking of beekeepers in marketing and obtaining fair prices for produce (honey and others).
- All matters related to purchase should be done in accordance with the procurement policy of the organization.
- Taking necessary initiatives in any legal matters for the implementation of the project.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Authority from time to time.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and other reports regularly and submit to appropriate officials.
- To work under the supervision of the Project Focal Person.
